I enjoy supporting others in discovering their passion in life. Empowering individuals to remove obstacles that are hindering them from being the best version of themselves and from fully living life as they desire is fulfilling.

I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I have accumulated over ten years of clinical experience in the mental health field. Throughout my training and professional experience, I have had the opportunity to work with children and adults. In most recent years, I have received specialized training while working with couples. Anxiety disorders, depression, family conflict, trauma histories, life transitions and relationship issues are some of the many concerns I have treated while working with various populations.

My counseling style is a person-centered approach combined with cognitive behavioral, narrative, motivational interviewing, solution-based focus, and mindfulness therapy. As a therapist, I always strive to ensure clients feel comfortable communicating and expressing themselves without feeling judged.

 

I feel so fortunate to have the opportunity to guide and support individuals in finding the sense of happiness and peace they were meant to have. I offer a safe place to share your story. In addition to therapy services, I also provide substance abuse counseling for individuals who meet the criteria for individual outpatient therapy.

I am a licensed clinical therapist who has a passion for supporting individuals in reaching their goals. From an early age, I realized I had the innate ability to care for others. This is a quality that still remains true for me and a quality that I am proud of. Supporting others in their journey towards healing and self discovery is very important to me. My goal is to support individuals towards achieving mental wellness and establishing confidence towards maintaining a state of well being on their own. Making sure others feel heard and know that they matter is a valuable asset within my therapeutic relationship with clients. I meet clients where they are, as everyone’s journey is different.

 

I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults. I have experience in helping clients better manage stress, anxiety, relationship concerns, lack of motivation, self esteem, and coping with life changes. I truly believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist in overcoming challenges faced with. Although we all have different challenges that we experience, it is important to know that you do not have to face these challenges alone. 

 

I have an integrative approach to therapy. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Art Therapy are some of the many modalities that I use. My empathy, understanding, and non judgmental approach has created a safe space for my clients to be transparent about their needs. As a result, this has helped me to create individualized treatment plans to support them in achieving their goals. I am committed to providing the best level of care to ensure individuals receive the quality service they deserve.
